Kumho Tire announced on the 24th that it has renewed the sponsorship contract with UK football club Tottenham Hotspur, where Korean football player Son Heung-min belongs.
At the signing event held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 23rd (local time), officials from the two sides, including Kumho Tire’s European Sales Director Joh Nam-hwa, Marketing Director Lee Kang-seung, Tottenham Hotspur’s Finance Director Matthew Collecott, legendary football player Ledley King and Michael Dawson, attended.
Kumho Tire and Tottenham Hotspur’s global official partnership has maintained since 2016. Under the new partnership, Kumho Tire will promote itself through LED advertisements at home matches hosted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
In addition to the promotion at the stadium, Kumho Tire will present the club’s popular matchday player virtual mascot program through digital activities. It will create content featuring Tottenahm’s players to highlight tire safety and support Kumho Tire’s corporate social responsibility programs. They will also continue joint digital campaigns featuring famous players such as Hugo Lloris, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso.
